Microsoft IIS and SiteServer Showcode.asp sample file allows remote file viewing

Description:
The showcode.asp sample file shipped with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SiteServer can be remotely exploited to read arbitrary files on vulnerable servers. This file is one of several sample files distributed with IIS and SiteServer that allow remote file viewing.
Platforms Affected:

- Microsoft, Windows NT 4.0
Remedy:
Remove the showcode.asp file from your servers. As a rule, sample code and example applications should not be installed on production servers.
