Bugzilla syncshadowdb symlink

Description:
Bugzilla could allow a local attacker to launch a symlink attack. The syncshadowdb script creates the tmpsyncshadow file insecurely. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a symbolic link from the tmpsyncshadow file to other files on the system, which would allow the attacker to create or overwrite arbitrary files on the system with the privileges of the user running the syncshadowdb script.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Bugzilla (2.16.11 or later), when it becomes available from the Bugzilla Web site.
