Description:

427BB could allow a remote attacker to bypass user authentication. The login.php and getvars.php scripts fail to validate the password cookie value when authenticating a user. This could allow a remote attacker to provide a modified username, authenticated, and usertype cookie value to gain unauthorized access to the forum.
