Description:

Research in Motion (RIM) BlackBerry Enterprise Server is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper handling of malformed PNG images. By creating a PNG image, and sending it to a BlackBerry handheld device user as an email attachment, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the BlackBerry Attachment Service to crash.
