H-Sphere login page cross-site scripting

Description:
H-Sphere is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the login module. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the login parameter to execute script in a victim¿s Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of H-Sphere (2.4.3 Patch 9 or later), available from the Positive Software Corporation Web site. See References.
