Description:
The WP-Stats plug-in for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL injection. A remote attacker could send specially-crafted SQL statements to the wp-stats.php script using the author parameter, which could allow the attacker to add, modify, or delete information in the back-end database.
Platforms Affected:
- WordPress, WP-Stats 2.0 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of WP-Stats (2.01 or later), available from the WP-Stats Web site. See References.
