Trac HTML WikiProcessor cross-site scripting

Description:
Trac from Edgewall is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the HTML WikiProcessor. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the current version of Track (version 0.9.3 or later) available from the Trac Download page. See References.
