Description:

LibTIFF is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a NULL pointer dereference in the TIFFVSetField() function. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a malicious TIFF image, which would cause an application that uses the LibTIFF library to crash, once the image is viewed.
