Multiple Mozilla products JavaScript interpreter memory corruption

mozilla-javascript-memory-corruption (24430) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

Multiple Mozilla products, including Firefox, Thunderbird and Mozilla Suite, could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the failure of the JavaScript interpreter (jsinterp.c) to properly dereference objects during garbage collection. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web page, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to corrupt memory and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the victim's browser to crash.
