Description:
Powersave could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges, caused by improper handling of a powersave action string sent by a client. A local attacker could send a specially-crafted string to gain elevated privileges.
Platforms Affected:
- Powersave, Powersave prior to 0.10.15.2
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Powersave (0.10.15.2 or later), available from the Powersave Web site. See References.
