Description:
Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 are vulnerable to a denial of service attack caused by improper handling of Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) packets. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially-crafted IGMP v3 packets to an affected system to cause the system to reboot.
