Description:
Windows Media Player Plugin is vulnerable to a buffer overflow. By creating a malicious HTML document containing a specially-crafted EMBED element, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on a victim's system with privileges of the victim. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hosting the malicious HTML document on a Web site and persuading the victim to visit the site or sending it to a victim as an email attachment.
