phphd check.php script SQL injection

Description:
phphd is vulnerable to SQL injection. If gpc_magic_quotes is off, a remote attacker could send specially-crafted SQL statements to the check.php script using the $HTTP_POST_VARS[username] variable, which could allow the attacker to bypass authentication and gain unauthorized access to the application.
