Sun Java Runtime Environment reflection APIs unstrusted Applet privilege escalation

sun-jre-reflection-privilege-elevation (24561) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) could allow a remote untrusted Applet to gain elevated privileges, caused by multiple vulnerabilities in the handling of 'reflection' APIs. A remote attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to read, write or execute arbitrary files on a vulnerable system by hosting a malicious applet on a Web site, and then persuading a potential victim to visit the site.
