SPIP spip_rss.php directory traversal local file include

spip-rss-file-include (24600) The risk level is classified as MediumMedium Risk

Description:

SPIP could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system. A remote attacker could embed arbitrary commands into the spip.log file using the spip_access_doc.php script and then send a specially-crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (../) and a NULL byte character (%00) to the spip_rss.php script using the GLOBALS[type_urls] parameter to specify the spip.log file, which would allow the attacker to execute the previously embedded commands on the system.
