Multiple vendor SFTP logging format string
| sftp-logging-format-string (24651) |
Description:
Multiple vendors' Secure FTP (SFTP) server implementations could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by a format string vulnerability in the SFTP logging functionality. If a remote attacker could persuade an authenticated user to "stat" a malicious file with a specially-crafted file name, the attacker could execute arbitrary commands on the affected system or cause a denial of service.
