Description:

Fedora Directory Server is vulnerable to a denial of service attack caused by a vulnerability in the LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) dn2ancestor component. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by initializing a ModDN operation with a specially-crafted DN to cause the consumption of all available CPU and memory resources, resulting in a denial of service.
