Description:
Adobe Macromedia Shockwave Player is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow in the ActiveX installer. By creating a malicious Web page that passes certain overly long parameters to the Shockwave ActiveX installer, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, once a victim visits the malicious page and is prompted to install the Shockwave ActiveX control.
