Description:
Lurker could allow a remote attacker to create or overwrite arbitrary files. A remote attacker could access a directory named 'mbox' causing an error that will allow the creation or overwriting of arbitrary files on the system.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the current version of Lurker (version 2.1 or later) available from the SourceForge.net Web site. See References.
