Description:
NWFTPD is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. A remote attacker could send an MDTM command that specifies an overly long file path to cause the service to crash.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of NWFTPD.NLM (5.07 dated March 15, 2006 or later), as listed in Novell Technical Information Document 2973435. See References.
