CuteNews inc/function.php directory traversal
| cutenews-incfunction-directory-traversal (25324) |
Description:
CuteNews could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories and view sensitive information. If magic_quotes_gpc is disabled, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted HTTP POST request or a cookie file to the inc/function.php script including "dot dot" sequences in the archive parameter to view arbitrary files and obtain the installation path for CuteNews. An attacker could use this information to launch further attacks against the affected system.
