Description:

ExtCalendar is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the calendar.php script. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the month, year, prev or next parameters to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

  • ExtCalendar, ExtCalendar 1.1 and prior

Remedy:

For ExtCalendar version 1:
Version 1 is no longer supported. Upgrade to ExtCalendar version 2 available from the SourceForge.net Web site. See References.
