Description:

Baby FTP Server could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information. The server returns a different error message based on whether a requested file exists outside of the FTP root directory or not. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially-crafted FTP request containing "dot dot" directory traversal sequences (/../) to determine the existence of files on the system. This information could be used to launch further attacks against the affected system.
