Microsoft .NET ILASM buffer overflow

Description:
ILASM is vulnerable to a buffer overflow. By creating a malicious .il file containing a call to a function greater than 64K, an attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, if the attacker could persuade a victim to assemble the malicious .il file using ILASM.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework SDK (2.0 or later), available from the Microsoft .NET Framework Developer Center. See References.
