SweetSuite.NET Content Management System search.aspx cross-site scripting

Description:
SweetSuite.NET Content Management System (ssCMS) is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the search.aspx script. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the keywords parameter to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest versions of SweetSuite.NET CMS (2.2.0.1 or later), available from the SheerVision Technologies Web site. See References.
