Description:
VERITAS NetBackup is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the Database Manager service (bpdbm.exe), caused by improper bounds checking by the sprintf() function. By sending a specially-crafted request to TCP port 13721, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on an affected system.
