PHP tempnam() open_basedir directory traversal
| php-tempnam-directory-traversal (25705) |
Description:
PHP could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the tempnam() function. An attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to an affected script to bypass open_basedir restrictions and create or overwrite arbitrary files on the system.
