Description:

Imager could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. This is caused by a segmentation fault that can occur when writing a 2 or 4 channel JPEG image or a 2 channel TGA image. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a Perl application that uses an affected version of the Imager module to crash.

Upgrade to the latest version of Imager (0.50 or later), available from the Imager Web page. See References.
