PHPAlbum language.php file include
| phpalbum-language-file-include (25846) |
Description:
phpAlbum could allow a remote attacker to include malicious PHP files. If magic_quotes_gpc is disabled and register_globals is enabled, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request to the language.php script using the 'data_dir' parameter to specify a malicious PHP file from a remote or local system, which would allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the vulnerable system.
Note: If the system is running PHP5 with 'register_globals' and 'allow_url_fopen' activated, a remote attacker could include a translation.dat file from an FTP resource.
Consequences:
Gain Access
Remedy:
No remedy available as of September 4, 2010.
