Description:

Sun Solaris could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by a vulnerability in the libpkcs11(3LIB) library. If a privileged application is linked to libpkcs11 and uses one of the gtpwnam(3C) functions to obtain password information, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain the privileges of the linked application or cause the linked application to fail.
