Linux kernel mprotect security bypass
| linux-mprotect-security-bypass (26169) |
Description:
Linux kernel could allow a local attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper validation of shared memory permissions in the ipc/shm.c file. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the mprotect command to gain write access to read-only attachments and shared memory.
