Description:
Avahi could allow an attacker from within the local network to cause a denial of service against remote mDNS/DNS-SD services, caused by improper handling of mDNS name conflicts. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause mDNS/DNS-SD services to become unresponsive.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Avahi (0.6.10 or later), available from the Avahi Web site. See References.
