Description:
Avahi is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the avahi-core module. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system with 'avahi' user privileges.
Platforms Affected:
- Avahi Team, Avahi 0.6.9 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Avahi (0.6.10 or later), available from the Avahi Web site. See References.
