Description:

FlexChat is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the index.cfm and chat.cfm scripts. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the 'username' or 'CFTOKEN' parameters in the index.cfm script or using the 'CFTOKEN' or 'CFID' parameters in the chat.cfm script to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
