Description:

Mobotix is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the 'help', 'event player' or 'events.tar' script. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:

For Camera Model M22:
Upgrade to the latest version (V3.0.3.31) available from the Software Downloads page of the Mobotix IP Network Cameras Web site. See References.
