Linux kernel SNMP NAT helper snmp_trap_decode() denial of service
| linux-snmp-nathelper-dos (26594) |
Description:
The Linux kernel SNMP NAT helper could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service caused by a memory corruption vulnerability in the snmp_trap_decode() function. If the ip_nat_snmp_basic module is loaded and traffic is being NATed on port 161 or 162, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the system to crash.
