PHP-AGTC Membership System adduser.php cross-site scripting

Description:
PHP-AGTC Membership System is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the adduser.php script. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the 'useremail' parameter to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of PHP-AGTC Membership System (1.1a dated 4th June 2006 or later), available from the AGTC Websolutions Web site. See References.
