Description:
Microsoft Internet Explorer could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a vulnerability regarding the handling of COM objects as ActiveX Controls. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by creating a specially-crafted Web page containing an invalid DXImageTransform.Microsoft.MMSpecialEffect1Input ActiveX object, and persuading a potential victim to visit the page. The attacker could use this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code and possibly gain complete control over the victim's system.
