Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird EvalInSandbox valueOf() sandbox bypass
| mozilla-valueof-sandbox-bypass (26842) |
Description:
Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird could allow a remote attacker to bypass sandbox restrictions and execute arbitrary script on a victim's system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a potential victim to visit a malicious Web page that uses JavaScript executed via EvalInSandbox and a valueOf() function call to bypass sandbox restrictions and execute malicious script on the victim's system with the same privileges as the victim.
