Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird XUL attribute code execution

mozilla-xul-code-execution (26846) The risk level is classified as HighHigh Risk

Description:

Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on a victim's system, caused by a vulnerability regarding XUL attributes. If a remote attacker could cause an incorrect URL to become associated with a persisted XUL attribute, the attacker could possibly execute arbitrary JavaScript on a victim's system with the same privileges as the browser. An attacker would have to persuade a victim to visit a malicious Web site in order to exploit this vulnerability.

Note: Thunderbird is not affected by this vulnerability unless JavaScript in mail is enabled.
