Description:

WinGate is vulnerable to a buffer overflow in the HTTP proxy. By sending an overly long HTTP request, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the proxy service to become unresponsive.

Upgrade to the latest version of WinGate (6.1.3 or later), available from the WinGate Web site. See References.
