Courier Mail Server libs/comverp.c usernames denial of service

Description:
Courier Mail Server is vulnerable to a denial of service caused by an error in the libs/comverp.c file. Usernames containing the equals (=) character are not properly handled during encoding. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the consumption of all available CPU resources.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Courier Mail Server (0.53.2 or later), available from the Courier Mail Server Web site. See References.
