Simpleboard multiple cross-site scripting
|simpleboard-multiple-xss (27021)||Medium Risk|
Simpleboard from Two Shoes M-Factory (TSMF) is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by multiple modules. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the 'Name' field in 'post ne topic' of the Frontend, the Title (Community-Title) and the Name (Forum-Title) fields in Simpleboard Configuration in the Backend Admin Panel, the Name (Category-Title) fields in Simpleboard Administration in the Backend Admin Panel, and possibly the 'sb_authorname' parameter to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
No remedy available as of August 1, 2014.
