Bitweaver articles/index.php cross-site scripting

Description:
Bitweaver is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input by the articles/index.php script. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the 'feedback' parameter to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Bitweaver (1.3.1 or later), available from the Bitweaver Web site. See References.
