Description:

Linux kernel is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by an infinite loop condition that can occur in the netfilter/xt_sctp.c file. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using specially-crafted packets containing a SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol) chunk size of zero to consume all available CPU resources, resulting in a denial of service.
