Description:
CommuniGate Pro is vulnerable to a denial of service caused by an unspecified error in the POP service. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a malicious mail client with an empty inbox to cause the POP service to crash.
Platforms Affected:
- Stalker Software, CommuniGate Pro prior to 5.1c2
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of CommuniGate Pro (5.1c2 or later), available from the CommuniGate Pro Web site. See References.
