Description:

Taskjitsu is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input when creating a new task. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability using the 'title' or 'description' form fields to execute script in a victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting Web site, allowing the attacker to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of Taskjitsu (2.0.1 or later), available from the Taskjitsu Web site. See References.
