AdPlug DMO file buffer overflow
| adplug-dmo-file-bo (27670) |
Description:
AdPlug is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of DMO files by the CdmoLoader::load function. By creating a malicious DMO file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the application to crash, if the attacker could persuade a victim to open the malicious file.
