| acrobat-pdf-distilling-bo (27676) |
Description:
Adobe Acrobat is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking when a distilling a PostScript file into a PDF file. By creating a malicious PostScript file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system, if the attacker could persuade a victim to distill the file into a PDF file. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by hosting the malicious file on a Web site or sending it to a victim as an email attachment.
