Description:
Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader for Mac OS create files and folders with default insecure file permissions during installation. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to add, modify or delete affected files and folders on the system and possibly gain elevated privileges on the system.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader (6.0.5 or later) or (7.0.8 or later), as listed in Adobe Product Security Bulletin APSB06-08. See References.
